Quality is our mandate. It begins with selecting the best grain and knowing the malting characteristics of each variety in each growing region. To ensure each grain is used to produce a high-quality product, our talented maltsters are supported with high-grade technology throughout the entirety of the malting process. And of course, for the duration of the process, we strictly adhere to the highest standard of food safety management.

Consistency
We test more than 100 grain and malt samples every day to verify superior quality, taste, and functionality. The grain is as important to us as the care and attention we bring to the malting process. We source plump, bright kernels with the right amount of moisture and protein. From there, maltsters take the grains through even steeping, controlled germination and artful kilning. It’s this fine-tuned, in-depth testing process that sets us up for quality assurance.

Canada Malting Co. continues to offer unique products, through innovative kilning technologies, bringing the past to the present with North American heritage varieties, ancient grains, and starch from different grain sources to invoke flavour characteristics not seen in regular brewery offerings. All this and more from our R & D center comprising of pilot malt and micro-malting capabilities in addition to full wet chemistry and research capabilities. Further, we also pride ourselves on the fact that we run collaborations with malting and brewing industry players. A solid play now and into the future.
